Crusher Wear Parts – Hammer Arms & Hammer Heads
Mine Components supplies precision-engineered hammer arms and hammer heads for heavy-duty hammer mills and crushers operating in mining, aggregate, cement, and industrial processing environments worldwide. Our wear components are manufactured using controlled casting and heat treatment processes to ensure high wear resistance, impact toughness, and dimensional stability under severe working conditions.
Hammer Arms
Material: Low-alloy quenched and tempered steel (e.g., G25MnCrMoB 6.4 or customer-approved equivalent certified grades) providing excellent strength, toughness, and fatigue resistance.
Heat Treatment: Normalizing followed by quenching and tempering to achieve uniform hardness of 285–341 HB, ensuring optimal balance between strength and ductility.
Dimensional Control: All critical features, including bore diameters and flatness tolerances, are 100% inspected using calibrated measuring instruments.
NDT: 100% Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) performed to ensure freedom from surface cracks.
Traceability: Each component is permanently marked with heat code, production date, and batch number to ensure full manufacturing traceability.

Hammer Heads
Material: High-chromium cast iron (e.g., GX45CrMo5-1 or approved equivalent grades) delivering superior abrasion resistance for crushing hard and abrasive materials.
Hardness: Through-hardened to achieve 500–550 HB, ensuring extended service life under severe impact and wear conditions.
Dimensional Inspection: All critical dimensions verified using calibrated gauges, including go/no-go inspection where applicable.
Integrity Policy: No weld repair permitted. All hammer heads are machined from sound castings to guarantee structural integrity.
Packaging: Each unit is individually protected with rust preventive oil and packed in export-worthy wooden crates with clear identification markings.

Quality Assurance
Material Certification: Chemical composition and mechanical property reports provided per heat (reflecting customer-approved equivalent grades where applicable).
Dimensional Inspection: 100% inspection of all critical tolerances; sample inspection for general dimensions in accordance with ISO 8062 CT-10.
Destructive Testing: Periodic sectioning performed to verify internal soundness and casting integrity.
Documentation Package: Inspection certificates, hardness reports, heat treatment curves, and MPI reports are included with every shipment.
