The same component sometimes serves different industries. A scraper pan side used in a longwall coal face conveyor and one used in a potash mine conveyor are the same product category, but the dimensional standards, material specifications, and documentation requirements may differ significantly. The same application system — a primary crushing circuit — exists in copper mines, limestone quarries, and cement plants, each with different feed material characteristics and wear part service life expectations.
