Jaw Crusher Wear Parts

For hard, abrasive rock (granite, basalt, quartzite), alloyed manganese grades (Mn14Cr2, Mn18Cr2) typically outperform standard Mn13 by providing better work-hardening response at the higher impact energies involved. For softer limestone and similar materials, standard Mn13 or Mn14 provides adequate service life at lower cost.

Impact Crusher Wear Parts
Hammer mills and horizontal shaft impact (HSI) crushers are widely used in limestone and soft rock aggregate operations where product shape is important. Crusher hammers and impact plates in these machines are subject to high-energy impact from the feed material and must absorb this energy without fracturing while maintaining acceptable abrasion resistance. The material selection balance between toughness and hardness is more critical in impact crushers than in jaw crushers, and the correct choice depends on the feed material, the rotor tip speed, and the required product specification.
